I used this as a spine book for our homeschool's study of ancient China. We read a little of this book them stopped to read another book specific to a certain aspect of china (great wall, clay soldiers, Silk Road, ect) I used it as a read along for my 7 year old, 5 year old, and the 3 year old listened as she played near by us. We loved the pictures and the writing style was easy to follow along with. I really recommend this book to any one wanting to learn an elementary understanding of Ancient China.

I ordered this book to preview for my 6th grade classroom. I love this series. In fact, we have ordered enough for each student in class to have a copy. It is agreat choice. It breaks up the content into sections kids can relate to such as daily life, technology, and much more. It also has lots of graphics to get kids interest. I highly recommend this series. We ordered several sets from the different titles. Great choice!!

This book is full of great pictures and wonderful information. It made reading is a joy! I would definitely recommend using this book.
