No other mind altering substances needed, unless you need help blocking the rational side of your brain. It's fiction and pure escapism in a Cinderella-like story, so just go with it👍

Kennedy, a retail worker and barmaid, meets Julian, a real estate tycoon, when she wins a trip to Las Vegas. As the story progresses the reader learns that what happens in Vegas doesn't always stay in Vegas, families and friends are not necessarily what they appear to be and love can come unexpectedly. This was a nice afternoon romance read with plenty of drama, lots of surprises, a little bit of steam and a happily ever after that was hard earned by both Kennedy and Julian.

Julian and Kennedy make you believe in possible forever and love and dreams. An exceptional story of two people from different spectrums in life meeting just once and the domino effect thereafter. If it is meant to BE then it shall BE. Amen.

This book has a good storyline that it is intriguing. The characters are engaging andnicely developed. I do appreciate reading this bookI received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This story about Julan and Kennedy . Julan whom is rich and Kennedy whom poor but they find each other of all place in Vegas and got married together by accidental.I would recommend this book to my friend and family to buy and read.

I liked this one more than the first book. This one's plot kept me hooked from the beginning til the end. I added the next one in this series to my list.

This is a wellwritten and intriguing book with a great storyline and lovely characters.I enjoyed reading about Julian and Kennedy

As a 10 year old I found this funny. Every "would you rather " question made me evaluate which answer I would rather choose. Really cool book! The illustrations were goofy but good. The drawings didn't look realistic at all, but they made me laugh anyway and gave me a better sense of what the question was asking me. I really enjoyed the cover photo. I think even that cute doggy liked this book! I encourage kids to do this book with their family and friends. I have a best friend that always plays soccer and not with me very often. But when we do hang out together she prefers to answer tese fun questions . I give a shout out to the author for bringing together such a masterpiece. Great Job!!!!!!!! Szin and his twin brother Raiden are both part human and part Tah’Narian but Szin looks far more like a frail human than his brother, or just about anyone else in his circle of friends and family, other than his human dad. Szin has always known Takeo considered them fated to be mates almost since birth, but he keeps trying to convince himself as well as Takeo that he's not good enough for the powerful warrior.This extremely fast-paced book wasn't quite what I was expecting, and it was very difficult to put down. The fast pace means there wasn't as much time spent on character development as you might expect, although this didn't really detract from the story. However, it was clear that there was a backstory to the parents of both Szin and Takeo. I didn't fully appreciate when picking out this book that it was the continuation of another series, “The Harvest”. What does come out is intriguing enough to want to read the previous series, but I still feel this book still stands up on its own.Given the fast pace and light touch on character development you might expect the world building aspect of the plot to suffer as well. However, on this point the book does deliver enough, just enough, to help you understand the universe that Szin and Takeo inhabit. The two young men come from very different cultures. While they have spent a lot of time together over the years, there's still a bit of shock when Szin is suddenly plunged into Takeo's world. This is where much of the drama in the story comes from.The surprising aspect of the story was a bit of kink. It's quite mild, but still wasn't expected. While the plot may be a little light on character development, there's still enough for you to feel for the two young men and hope things turn out well for them, although there's very little doubt about that. At the end, the only real short-coming of the story is that it's a little too sweet for my taste.

I Loved Loved this series, they are so compelling, I can't stop reading the series over and over. Dynamic characters from 'Taken to Harvest' I just WISH that she would continue the series like writing about Szin and Takoe's new life or another book 3 of any of them..When I saw the christmas one it was like 'my wishes were heard' since I was reading the others over and over I am hooked on them.. I especially Like reading about the kids Raiden and Szin.. purrfect...humorous etc.. I am wondering or would like to see how many people want her to continue her stories,, ? I do enjoy her way of writing, but this series makes me wish for more stories...of them They are so dynamic, characters and plots.etc. sigh.... I implore MA Church to continue this series Taken Harvest etc.. all with me? applause

The Harvest is one of my all time favorite books--I read it first on Literotica and loved it. I enjoyed this story with Szin and Takeo. I also enjoyed peeking into Kenyon and Dale 's life since the last book. Now my question is when is Raiden's story coming out.

Yet another novel where an author, through laziness or willful ignorance, has taken sexual abuse and assault and glossed it up as romance.And no, I am not talking about the BDSM portrayed in the novel.

The harvest is one of my favorite series! So detailed and I love the fact the characters have aliens and different worlds. There is so much to the book and the main characters are written so well that I am anticipating the next book written by M.A. Church!!!!

This was a nice read..it was good to see all the gang...well mostly all the gang...I guess I wanted this book to be longer...I wanted to see more of the young grown up..not just 3 of them...I also wanted more of a plot ...hence the 3.5 review...I will read the next book however...I hope I don't have to wait to long....

I probably should have read the prequel series before jumping into this one, but I didn't. I still liked the book and thought it was engaging and fun. I would definitely give the next book in the series a try. I may even get to the prequel at some point. ;) An enjoyable read.

This book is the format for my capstone design class. We had three assignments based on some design documents the text suggested. These were alright, but not overly helpful in guiding nor progressing our design. The other chapters, like the one on group management, were more helpful. Design is a difficult process to generalize or outline. The author does a good job with that part of it. I didn't care as much for the 'emotional' side of things, not because the information was false or unhelpful, but because the ideas are difficult to convey to engineers. Overall, this text guides the design process well.

This book is very handy for my Engineering Innovation class! This book provides very useful information for not only engineering design, but also for other things too. For example, one chapter provides very helpful information about presenting designs in both oral and written forms, which is really nice. The book is very detailed and has an easy-to-understand format which makes taking notes and applying them to class discussion, projects, etc. so much easier! I think this book would be helpful for anyone in Engineering, and not just the people taking the class. It was so nice to get it for the price I did too. At my school's book store it would have cost a fortune! It is in almost brand new condition and doesn't have any marks. (yeaa for books in good condition!)

Very dry, very long, very drawn out. Cluttered explanations followed be exhaustive case studies. Even my professors agree that this book is only good for skimming and getting ideas from, not as a detailed reference.

Carol Ann Tomlinson is William Clay Parrish, Jr. Professor, Chair of Educational Leadership, Foundations and Policy, and Co-director of the Institutes on Academic Diversity at the Curry School of Education, University of Virginia. Her university career follows a 20-year career as a public school teacher and a leader of district programs for both struggling and advanced learners. She and her colleagues developed a model for what we now call differentiated instruction in their work with heterogeneous 7th grade classrooms. Tomlinson was Virginia's Teacher of the Year in 1974 and won an All-University Teaching Award in 1994. The author of more than 300 publications, she works throughout the United States and internationally with educators who want to create classrooms that are more responsive to a broad range of learners.

I liked how the book develops the case for differentiation in a way that makes sense to teachers. Then the author takes us through the variety of ways to differentiate for students. It gives teachers conceptual ideas and practical ways to implement those ideas. Although the process of proactively lifting barriers for students is complex, as our author points out, it is achievable. This book helps us to move forward in our work to create more and more great educations for more and more students. Carol Ann Tomlinson continues to champion success for children, and her book is an important read for all educators.

This text is very clear simple and profound. If you are an educator it should convict you and cause you to reconsider how our way of teaching on way to many leaves many behind. If you are a parent it should convict you to accept where your child is and end the competition for grades-your approval-and fear of failure.
