Additionally, the book “describes†that all forces involved in these Arctic Conflicts’ in fact were given a “End-State†plan to execute for the “political†branch of their nations once the “military†objective had in fact been achieved, like rapidly “rebuilding†infrastructure destroyed, getting “local-populace†back to being “employed†etc… something that perhaps was lacking in the US involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan???? The Arctic "theater" is definitely one of the most overlooked parts of the war, and probably the most unique. I wasn't even aware of Nazi and Soviet fighting that far north until I saw this book.

This reader wanted to know about the invasion of America by a foreign power ; the final outcome of the Great Winter War ; and why Finland joined with Germany during WWW II .
