My son is a fan of this show. He really liked this book. He said it had differences from the show, but he liked that it wasn't exactly the same. The graphic novel has six different chapters. The artistry is different than the show, but my son like that also. It is a different way of experiencing the Deep if you are familiar with the show, this doesn't take away from the content of the book though.

My daughter loves this so much. She’s five so read it to her. A big plus for me is the very like-able, multicultural family. I wish there were more.

Finally a book that's not full of potty humor. No violence or bratty attitudes. An intelligent family going on adventures. My son and I love this book as well as the show on Netflix. Buy!

Great read

A multi-ethnic family of underwater explorers (a.k.a. science superheroes!), amazingly funny writing, an art style that looks like animation in the best way, and the best pet fish EVER. The Deep started as a comic and became a Netflix series, I think (?), before Boom re-issued this graphic novel in November 2017. It's one of my favorite kids' comics in the past couple years for fun, adventure, and submarine living. If another volume appears, I'll be pre-ordering it for sure.

The drawings help you get oriented to landmarks, and I can see that it would be handy to be able to pull out the map and see the restaurants in the blocks around you so you can pick something good and in your price range.As a purely informational map for the other major stuff like museums and monuments, the Borch map has more data (except restaurants) and covers a wider area. The Streetwise map is a little more manageable when unfolded fully. Those two and this one are waterproof and durable. The smallest usable map is the PopOut, which isn't waterproof but is the easiest to fit in a pocket. This MapEasy map is actually probably the second most pocketable, as it's printed on a coated paper that isn't super stiff, and it folds fairly small.If finding restaurants quickly and easily is important to you, this is clearly the choice. And it's a very attractive map that is a pleasure to look at.

Shows lots of landmarks and buildings with their shape which helps you identify where you are more easily. Little pricey but a great map and it is coated.

It's cool. artistic. Not sure why the price is what it is but I like it anyway.

It's a good map, with landmarks galore. It's also water proof and easily folded. The only problem I have is that it doesn't go very far North. It stops around Dupont Circle. Would be nice for this same company to make a COMPLETE map of DC with the level they put towards the Mall area.

This map is all about knowing where you find your favorite store, restaurant fast food hang out...Love it, useful when I get to D.C. with the family!

Map was outdated. There's a metro line that wasn't even on the map. Luckily we had been to DC before and figured it out.

Note that there is a 2010 version of the Washington D.C. map, according to the publisher, while this is the 2008 version (I called Amazon to verify the date). I would try to get the newer version from (sorry Amazon) another vendor. Regarding the product itself, Mapeasy's are great, so easy to use - I used mine to tour Washington on foot and by metro (metro map is also on the mapeasy), several years ago, every time I went there. What a fantastic help. Not only it is much easier to find your way around with a 3-D map, but the hints shown on the map, of some special places are really helpful, as well.

I spent a week in DC and this map saved me tons of time by helping me get where I needed to go without getting too lost. It's very easy to read and all the major places of DC are on here. One of the most helpful features was the fact that it shows where Metro stations are located - we kept getting on and off the Metro so this was invaluable when wandering the city and not knowing offhand where the nearest station was.
